What is Availability and how to check it?

Availability refers to the vehicles available for reservations. The system calculates availability by grouping individual vehicles into specific classes or categories. When creating a booking, the system checks for available vehicles within the selected class and time period.

How to Check Availability

Vehicle availability can be checked from step 2 of the booking process. In this step, you can also debug availability issues.

Users can have an overview of bookings and vehicles on the reservation calendar. However, for accurate availability checks, step 2 should always be used after entering the reservation dates, times, locations, and vehicle class.

Availability Calculation Options

The system allows configuring availability calculations based on the following options:

• Basic Availability Check: This feature is enabled by default and can be configured using the "Enable Availability Calculations" setting, located in "Settings → Car Rental → Settings tab". If this setting is disabled, availability will not be calculated, the system will allow overbooking, and related settings like overturn hours will not be applied.
• Availability Per Location: Enabling this feature allows the system to restrict the availability of vehicles by their assigned location. To enable this feature, please contact the support team.
