Overview

What is a Commission Partner?

A commission partner is an external party (e.g. hotel or sales agent) that can offer your rental services and earn a commission. Commission partners can receive a unique booking link that can be placed on their website and they can also get restricted access to the backend system so they can view their own bookings and commissions. It's a great way to work with partners and grow revenue.

Alternatively, commission partners can be a vehicle owner who earns a commission every time his/her vehicle is used for a rental. In this case, the commission partner needs to be linked to the vehicle. Scroll down for exact instructions.

Commissions Module Structures

There are two main structures to set up the commissions module in the system; the main difference depends if the end client pays the Commission Partner or if they pay you (the rental company).

1️⃣ Commission-based Commission Module – This applies if the client will pay the rental company, and then the rental company will pay an agreed commission to the Commission Partner.

2️⃣ Invoice-based Commission Module – This applies if the client pays the Commission Partner the full amount of the reservation. Then on a weekly or monthly basis, the rental company will send an invoice to the Commission Partner for the corresponding revenue.
