The software provides you with a vehicle damage map on which you can easily map the damages of a vehicle. Damages are added and managed through the vehicle damage map provided by the system where you can easily create and view the damages of a vehicle. The mapped damages can be shown in the rental agreement.
Where can I find the damage map?
You can visualize the Damage map in steps 7 (Pickup) and 9 (Return) of reservations. You can also see the damage map of a specific vehicle by selecting it from the Vehicles table and pressing on the Damages tab.
How to add damages on the map?
Option 1 – Drop a circle
Click on the affected area, and a circle will be automatically marked. Next, you may add the details of the damage on the modal that will appear.
Option 2 – Draw a line
Click on the affected area and drag out a line in the direction of your choice. A will be marked on the map. This is helpful for scratches or dents. Next, you may add the details of the damage on the modal that will appear.
Option 3 – Draw an area
Click on the affected area, drag in one direction, and then switch directions. This will allow you to easily draw any type of area on the map. This can be specially helpful for bigger dents or affected zones of the vehicle. Next, you may add the details of the damage on the modal that will appear.
