How to set up Open Edge

This article is a step-by-step breakdown of how to set up Open Edge for payments.

Step 1

To integrate OpenEdge with the HQ system. It’s important to be in the process of having an account with Open Edge or having an account already. Once you have achieved the previous requirement, create a ticket that asks for the Open Edge integration. Open Edge will send to HQ two PDFs with the Retails(Swipe Machine) and E-commerce(Online) tokens.

Step 2

Next, set up a new gateway in the system. Go to Settings → Payment Gateways → Gateways → Add Gateways→ North America → Open Edge

• For the E-commerce integration, you must choose OpenEdge
• For the desktop Swipe Machine integration, you must select Swipe OpenEdge
• For the mobile Point of Sale, you must select OpenEdge Swipe (Mobile)
