This article is going to show you how to handle Vehicle Repossessions and Auto Theft within the HQ Rental Software.
If you find yourself in a situation where one of your vehicles has been stolen or repossessed, then you will be able to reflect such an event on HQ.
If, during the event, the vehicle was out on rent, then you can adjust the vehicle status from the reservation. If the vehicle was not out on rent, then you can adjust the vehicle status from the Fleet module.
From the internal reservation process, you’ll find a dropdown menu located in the upper right-hand corner.
When you click on the dropdown menu, you’ll have the option to set if during the reservation the vehicle was:
Once you select an option, a modal will show where you can add details, as shown in the image below.
