This article will show you how to set up long-term rentals in the system. This feature will enable the ‘Reservation Type’ feature in Step 1 of the booking process.
To activate Long-term rentals, go to Settings → Car Rental → Long Term & Renewals tab, and set the “Enable Short Term / Long Term Rentals” option to Yes.
Scroll down, and click on the Save button to apply the changes.
After configuring this option, the Reservation Type feature will be displayed in Step 1 of the booking process. The customer can select two reservation types:
1️⃣ Short Term: This reservation type is set by default. It is the regular reservation period that is used even when the feature is not enabled. The pickup Date/Time and Return Date/Time are displayed in the system.
2️⃣ Long Term: When this option is selected, the Return Date/Time will be disabled.
