Step 1: Order your Card Readers

Hardware must be ordered directly through your Stripe Dashboard for better tracking and warranty management.

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to More → Terminal → Hardware Orders.
  3. Select your shipping country and choose the reader model that fits your needs:
  4. Complete the checkout using your own payment and shipping details.

Note: When requesting Android Tap to Pay, iOS Tap to Pay, or Mobile Readers, make sure to specify it in the support ticket so the support agent can enable the feature in the system.

Step 2: Set up Card Readers

Follow the toggle instructions below based on the model you purchased.

Before connecting any reader, your Fleet Locations must have a physical address set up in Settings → Fleet.

  1. Go to Settings → Payment Gateways → Locations.
  2. Click Add and select your Stripe Account, Label, and the Fleet Location.
  3. Click Save. If the Stripe Internal ID populates, the location is active.
