The insurance is backed by Holman Insurance Services, a $10B privately held firm that specializes in automotive. Claims are managed by and paid out directly to the Car Rental Agency.

We review your current insurance policies and make recommendations on where you can optimize your policy and how you can put strategies in place to help reduce cost and reduce loss-runs over time. For larger fleets (750+ vins), we specialize in helping you set up captive/self-insurance programs. We’ve seen clients reduce cost by over 30% through captive solutions.

Counter Product Program Overview

RCLI (Renters Contingent Liability Insurance):

• Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance is coverage which acts in the place of a primary automobile policy for the renter of a vehicle who may or may not maintain a personal automobile policy. The renter of the vehicle must elect coverage by signing for and paying a separate premium for the coverage at the rental counter, or website, prior to the rental inception.

CDW (Collision Damage Warranty):

• CDW provides up to $35,000 reimbursement for repairs or replacement of a vehicle involved in an accident, subject to a $1,000 deductible. Car Rental Agency is responsible for the deductible, whether or not it is collected from the renter. There is no comprehensive coverage, no glass coverage. Restrictions apply.

PEI/PAI (Personal Effects Insurance & Personal Accident Insurance):

• Personal Accident/Personal Effects Insurance (PAI/PEI) – sold as one unit, PAI/PEI provides limited medical insurance for the renter and their family in the event of an accident. There is also coverage for the belongings of the renter and their family.
