Overview
HQ Rental Software supports integration with Quickbooks Desktop, with the following requirements:
- Quickbooks 2006 or newer (Microsoft Version Only)
- Quickbooks Web Connector 2.1 or newer (Depends on your Quickbooks version)
- Your Quickbooks server must have access to the internet
Before You Start and Limitations

- To enable accounting integration, a set-up fee of 6 support credits is charged. Please open a support ticket with the title “Enable Quickbooks Desktop Integration”.
- Recommended for larger companies that have a dedicated finance department.
- Recommended for short-term bookings (revenue gets classified when booking is closed).
- This method requires a crossing account to be properly set up (requires advanced accounting knowledge).
- The payments get registered on the crossing account and when the reservation is completed the reservation amount and the credit registered for the payment are taken out to make the balance.
- This method DOES NOT create any invoices or receipts in the system or the accounting system.
- This method DOES NOT support security deposits (security deposits are only registered in HQ).
- Repair orders and vehicle expenses are not supported.
