Reservation attempts are processes where a reservation was initiated but not completed. These are generated through the public booking engine and are deleted if a customer completes a booking. These attempts are tracked to identify potential customers and encourage them to complete their bookings.

The “Reservation Attempts” table, found in "Car Rental → Reservation Attempts," displays all the reservation attempts with the details of the reservations that were not completed, such as Pickup Location, Return Location, Pickup Date, Return Date, Contact, Reservation Type, Branch, Total Available Vehicles, Vehicle Class and Last Step.

Clicking a reservation attempt link will allow you to continue the reservation process by pressing on the “Continue Reservation” button in the “Reservation Attempts” modal.

To contact potential customers who generated reservation attempts, an email field can be configured in Step 1 of the reservation process and made mandatory by configuring the options “Enable Email Saving Functionality” and “Email is Mandatory in Public Bookings in Step 1?” as “Yes” in "Settings → Car Rental" under the “Public Reservations” section.
