This article is a step-by-step breakdown of how to set up the returning customer functionality. This feature will allow your previous clients to use their Driver’s license number and Date of Birth to find their information and not have to fill in their details a second time around.

<aside> 💡 This feature is highly recommended as it will avoid duplicate contacts for the same client, as well as the need to input again their information on every occasion they reserve.

First, navigate to Settings → Car Rental Settings → Extra Features section, then click “Yes” on the “Enable Returning Customer Search” feature, as shown in the images below.

Once this has been done make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the blue “Save” button.

Now, your customers will be able to find their information by filling in their Driver’s License Number and Date of Birth in step 4 of the reservation process and then clicking on the find my information button.

Once the customer has clicked on the Find My Information button they'll see a confirmation window and their information will be loaded on the form.

The customer can click on the “Ok” button to continue their making their reservation. Once they have retrieved their information all changes are allowed if any of the fields in the form needs to be updated.
