Accepting more payment methods helps your business expand its global reach and improve checkout conversion.
HQ’s integration with Stripe by default shows, if possible, all the eligible payment methods you enable on the Stripe dashboard. On the payment form, Stripe handles the logic for dynamically displaying the most relevant eligible payment methods to each customer to maximize conversion. Some of the criteria are the Stripe account country, the transaction currency, etc. More information can be seen here.
<aside> 💡 HQ’s integration with Stripe saves the payment method info in the HQ system for future usage, allowing rental users to charge saved cards if there are any outstanding balances or to process the security deposit. This is why payment methods that do not support recurring payments, will not show on the payment form and are not supported in HQ’s integration.
