Step 1: Login & installing the HQ plugin

Now that the client has given us their credentials, we can log in with their admin user and proceed with the integration. Note that almost every time you can enter the WordPress admin page through tenant’sURL.com*/wp-admin,* as seen below.

It’s also a good practice to save the credentials on 1P, so other support agents can log in as well.

Now that we’re in, we need to go to the Plugins section in the toolbar at the left, and then click on Add New.

Once there, we’re going to search for the HQ Rental Software plugin (try writing it exactly as it is, otherwise it might not show up). Click on the Install Now button, or Activate it if the client has already installed it by themselves.

If we did it right, we should now be able to see the HQ custom sections in the toolbar at the left, which are Branches, Locations, Vehicle Classes, and Vehicle Types.

Step 2: Connecting with the Tenant´s HQ account

Having completed the first step, now we shall proceed with the connection to our system. We’ll go to the Settings section of the toolbar, which can be found almost at its bottom. There should be a sub-section named HQ Rentals; click on it.
