An e-invoice is an invoice issued, transmitted, and received in a structured electronic format (like XML) instead of a PDF or paper document. Because the data is structured, it can be read and validated automatically by accounting systems and tax authorities — no manual re-entry.
Governments across the EU and beyond are increasingly requiring businesses to issue e-invoices, with mandates already active in several countries and more coming into effect through 2027–2030.
Peppol is a network that is being adopted in EU and other countries as a standardized network and format.
| Integration Method | Fees | Supported features | |

Step 1 - Invoices configuration
As a prerequisite, the invoice module should be enabled and properly configured. If any questions, please open a support ticket and our support team can help.
Step 2 - Enable the format Go to Settings → Invoices → E-Invoicing → General, select Peppol BIS 3.0 XML under E-Invoice Formats, and save. This turns on the e-invoice option for standard invoices across your account.

Step 3 - Configure Seller Details per branch Under Settings → Invoices → E-Invoicing → Branch Configuration, select a branch tab and fill in:
| Field | Required when |
|---|---|
| VAT Number | The invoice carries tax |
| Legal Registration Number | The invoice carries no VAT |
| Peppol Endpoint ID + Endpoint Scheme | Always — this is your business's Peppol network address |
Also make sure your Company Mame (Settings) and the branch's country are set — both are required to build a valid seller address.
